Q: How much weight can these hold?

I personally weigh 230 and I can stand of them perfectly fine. Just make sure not to get water on them or they will break, I got water on mine from taking a shower or from the moisture of the bathroom and the side brok but they are pretty good with weight

No it is not stable enough as a foot rest.
