When I say I HAD to write a review, I mean I am moved to emotion and I HAD to come and write a review. You ladies who have experienced this will understand completely! And if you are on the fence about this product, maybe my testimony will help you decide.After having my son 3 years ago, something down there changed! The smell was way different, and the amount of discharge I was having was ridiculous. I wasn't sure if it was related to age......or if I had some kind of infection.....or if it was related to the birth of my 10 LB 4 OZ fully grown child. Not that child birth should or would cause a long term change in smell/discharge, but things were definitely not the same after having my son. I had always been used to having almost no smell at all down there. Or when I did have a smell down there, to me, it was an enjoyable smell. Not offensive in the slightest. So now that I was experiencing a foul smell and excessive discharge, I was concerned.I didn't go to the doctor about it right away, seeing if it would clear up on it's own, but when that didn't happen, I sought professional help. They told me that I had BV and gave me an antibiotic. I thought this was the answer! So I took the antibiotic to completion and tested clear or all viruses/infections. But.........................the smell and discharge persisted and even got worse.The worst part would be when my little one, now 2-3 years old, would come in the bathroom and cover his nose when I was using the restroom. I wasn't even pooping but he would comment on how bad it smelled, and I knew it was my vagina. I thought it was broken. I had already been treated and told everything was better. I really thought my vagina had just changed, and smelled bad now. It was heartbreaking. Then I came across this medicine. :')I did get the test strips and test myself before starting and I was at about a 6 (2-4 being normal range). So I began. Day 1 the smell was almost gone. Day 2, smell was completely gone. I'm on day 4 today and I called my baby into the restroom when I was going pee. I asked him to come about a foot or 2 away from me, and then I asked him "do you smell anything?", AND HE SAID NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm telling you he has NEVER in his little life said it didn't smell bad when I went to the restroom. And also the discharge is nearly gone!!!! I can't believe I never knew about this before now, and I think more women should know about it! My vagina is NOT broken, and I am not dirty, and I don't have an infection. My PH was high. That's it. And now it's fixed. I am so extremely grateful, and I will sing the praises for the rest of my life. Thank you Pelvana! SERIOUSLY! :')

The applicator is game changer. I get BV regularly and prefer to balance my PH with boric acid rather than antibiotics. The applicator allows me to insert them higher which seems to aide in faster relief. After the first insert my relief was overnight. No more foul death crotch. I inserted one for the next 3 nights and my symptoms are gone. I love these. I'm going to temporarily cease using to see how long before my BV returns. I'll update on how long it take.

This product is conveniently packaged and works well for girly issues. I will buy it again because, well, I'm a girl and this is good stuff!

Like the title says. They work but since they don't completely dissolve if you use one at night when you wake up you'll have a mess. Imagine getting sand on you and rubbing it. Pretty gritty right? That. That's what it feels like except instead of on your arms or legs or whatever it's on your *ahem*. It's extremely NOT comfortable to wipe away the mess in the morning. It's not painful or anything, but it is very uncomfortable.Also, these capsules are huge. Like twice the size of the Azo ones, which may contribute to why it literally never fully dissolves. I also think the powder may not be as fine as the Azo ones because again, not fun to wipe away, and I've never had that issue with other brands.It works. It's a great price. But there ARE some annoying uncomfortable issues which on top of your original annoying uncomfortable issues sucks.I have an issue with chronic yeast infections and after being on fluconazole weekly for a year I got tired of how expensive it was and was concerned about building immunity so I switched to boric acid once a week AND after being intimate to help rebalance PH and it honestly has been working better for me than the fluconazole (I didn't realize how much better I felt until I switched!) but I definitely prefer other brand over this one.If you're hurting financially or if you have an active yeast infection where you need to use a pill or even two a day for a week or two (depends of the severity of your infection) then this is a great deal especially with the applicators but for just a weekly maintenance, splurge on a more expensive brand.The $15 for 30 tablets work just as well AND actually dissolve.It doesn't burn or irritate or cause cramping or bleeding for me but that obviously doesn't matter because everyone is different and we all have different sensitivities to stuff. just because it doesn’t bother me doesn’t mean it’s not going to bother you. For example I can't use lube, like at ALL its a recipe for burning itchy pain for me and a GUARANTEED yeast infection but LOTS of other people can use it just fine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯you’ll just have to buy it and see if it works for you. Oh, and just to be CRYSTAL clear; these are SUPPOSITORIES. DO NOT EAT THEM. KEEP THEM OUT OF REACH OF PETS OR CHILDREN. BORIC ACID IS POISONOUS. P.O.I.S.O.N.O.U.S. DO NOT LET YOUR PARTNER GO DOWN YOU FOR AT LEAST 24 HOURS AFTER USING ONE. I wouldn't recommend being intimate either.
