The quality you expect from Parkside
The battery and charger are good quality as you would expect from Parkside. Battery has small charge indicator on the side. Battery arrived 2/3 charged which is apparently best for long term storage of lithium batteries. Battery is slightly more than half the weight of 4Ah battery fo very good for tools you might use for hours. I recently bought the Parkside cordless pruners which is why I wanted the lighter battery. Charger is basic and can charge 2Ah or 4Ah batteries. Slots on back so it can be hung on the wall. Comes with EU two pin plug, so I have ordered a plug converter. I think Parkside are excellent value for money. All the tools so far have been of decent quality and nothing packed up yet. Much more reliable than uknown brands

2 pin plug ! Adapter needed to use
Good quality charger and battery but 1 star removed due to no mention that it has a 2 pin plug! Adapter needed to commence charging.

Good price and delivered promptly. Does come with a 2 pin plug so needs a 3 pin adapter.

continental plug not UK one
the charger comes with a 2-pin continental plug, NOT A UK PLUG. supplier included a travel adaptor to overcome his but this didn't work so have had to purchase a separate travel adaptor. no indication of this issue on Amazon or on box

Useless
I bought a plug and this set. Used the charge on the battery and then put the battery on to charge. The battery never recharged. The lights came on but it kept showing red and green which means the battery won’t charge. I then bought 3 further batteries from Lidl directly and none of these recharged either. I returned the batteries to Lidl but I’m now wondering if it’s the charger that is faulty not the batteries! Overall it’s been a complete waste of money .
