These connectors are not cheap, but they are much better than the giant wire nut connectors with dielectric gel that fail after one year. Assembly is easy for 2 (splice) or 3 (tee junction) wires. The electrical and mechanical stability of the connection can be tested prior to pulling the cap down with the dielectric. If you want your outdoor low voltage connections to last, you need these connectors.Update: I’ve just finished another round of replacing “waterproof” wire nuts with these connectors. I wish the landscaper had used these in the first place. Highly recommended.

These connectors are great and I feel I finally found something that is secure and waterproof. I previously used the silicone filled screw on wire caps with which I didn’t have any issues but saw these were supposed to be the best so I gave them a shot.I’m building raised flower beds and used these connectors for the wall lights and color changing flood lights against the house.A bit pricey, but they worked great!I was hoping to use my hydraulic crimper or my small ferrule crimper but neither worked. Instead I used my ratcheting insulated/non-insulated crimper with the non-insulated die . Not the cleanest crimps but they seemed solid so happy with the connections.Most of my crimps were 2 - 12 gauge and 1 - 18 gauge but I only used the small ferrules.When ordering, remember you need TWO per light - one for each side of the fixture so divide the amount of connectors you order by two and that’s how many fixtures you can connect.I ordered another set as I will be building a second raised bed with addition lights (once the bricks come in which are delayed due to COVID).

These were perfect and definitely worth every penny. No mess like the standard gel wire nuts. Solid and a secure connection that will probably outlast the life of the landscape lights themselves. Definitely will be using them again for future landscape lighting projects!
