Culligan Whole House Water Filter System, 3/4" Standard, P5 Filter Included

I’m using this Culligan Whole House Water Filter System for my ice machine, and it works great! The water is noticeably cleaner, and my ice comes out crystal clear without any odd taste. Installation was straightforward thanks to the built-in bypass valve and included tools, and I love that it helps protect both my ice maker and plumbing from sediment buildup. Culligan’s quality really shows, solid construction, easy maintenance, and peace of mind knowing my water is well filtered before it even reaches my appliances. Great price and fit perfectly, Highly recommend!

We've been in our new house for a year now and are on a local water supply for the subdivision. We had smell issues in the water and pulled the anode rod from our 1 year old water heater, and it was down to the wire. I have since learned that the smell comes from the decaying zinc on the anode, but had already ordered this filter to prefilter anything that may be contributing to that smell. It's so nice to be able to see that we don't have sand or other debris in our water, and so far only see a rusty iron color on the filter, which is easy to view thru the clear canister. I used a couple of sharkbite fittings and intercepted the incoming water line before the softener and water heater, so our entire system is now filtered. After this, I added a powered CorroProtect, which I did have issues with, but now my water smells are history. Installation was easy and it looks fine where I installed it.

I bought 2 of these as I noticed if you run the factory filter then a black one (cart) directly behind it you can achieve ALL the marked contaminants in the manual to be removed running these together. Upon connecting these to my expansion pex plumbing (which chlorine eats that's why I need water filtered as well). I was able to get one to thread without issue the second has something wrong with the threads to where I have to order another. I tried straight pipe between them first then switched to shark bite/pex fittings as a center and to no avail it leaks on incoming and outgoing on the first one. Hopefully I just got a dud, regardless I installed bypass now so no drips. Update, new one arrived easily installed this time and no leaks so they gain a star and now I would highly recommend these for the price and ease of exchange for failed unit. Now longevity test. BTW bypass is still nice to have for outdoor hoses or and use of large amounts of water to save on the filter on top of it the filter has issue you can just return water flow to your home.

I’m very happy with the Culligan WH-S200-C Whole House Water Filter. It works great and has made a noticeable difference in my water, especially with reducing the amount of iron. Culligan is a good name brand, so I felt confident buying it, and so far it has lived up to expectations. One feature I really like is the built-in on/off/bypass switch. It makes changing filters or bypassing the unit much easier without having to shut everything down. Overall, this is a solid whole-house filter that does exactly what I needed it to do. I would definitely recommend it. Don't forget to have Alexa set a reminder for you to change it every couple of months!

Great product

I installed two of these in line, one for rust and the next charcoal. After about a year, the bottom that holds the filter broke off and flooded the basement. I replaced it and six months later the second one broke, also causing a flood. I do not have high pressure in the water lines as I am on a well. The threads are where it broke. These are mounted on a wall and not where anyone can bump them. One of the four I bought wouldn't seal. I cannot recommend these.

Solid build. 4 stars only due to same as some others had complaint about threading issue. Mine encountered when screwing the 3/4 to 1/2 adapter on the outlet side. The adapter went in slanting. Take note of this, it's real.

Es un exclente portafiltro lo recomiendo, cumple muy bien con su funcion y es facilmde instalar, el unico pero quenle.encuentro es que no incluya la base para fijarlos y no hay en existencia. Pero cumple.connsu funcion y no le afecta solo haybque tener ingenio.

I would be happy if the seller have given Wall mounting with this product.

Defective. A crack in the wall of the output connection. Did not install immediately and so did not know until this week. The return window was already passed.
