The cooking gage is very accurate. It’s easy to use, just boil with your eggs and put your eggs in an ice bath as soon as the cooking timer indicates how you want your eggs to cooked. I haven’t dropped it yet, so can’t comment on how durable it is. It works so well that I can’t boil eggs without it.
