VENTA Airwasher LW45G & Aroma Therapy Eucalyptus 3-Pack

It is simple, quiet, no filters or anything required other than keeping it clean. Here, that would be through the winter and then into storage with a simple clean. Easy to fill and maintain. More water each day so far (one week) and east to fill. All about it is simple and effective without parts that fail, and will work for years. Easily I have spent $100 on previous types and brands and have spent more on filters and their various issues and I have parts and noisy machines (to come), and I need to recycle the whole old machines that either don't work or are NOISY. But, NOT THE VENTA! It is so simple that it could very well be the last I need to purchase. Someday someone may create one that you don't see or hear. This one is close.

I have to say this product is ok. It kinda does what it is suppose to. I decided to keep it, but really have to give it low ratings. It helps with humidity, barely. It is really not good as a humidifier except that it keeps it at a low humidity level. It is around 30 to 33 %. The main problem is i cannot get the humidity in my house up to 45%, that is where i like it. So the humidifiers that spray will work so much better to add moisture to a house. They should add some type of hearer to heat the water, my guess is then it would add more moisture to the air. It does seem to clean the air, but my air is really not dirty. We vacuum a few times a week and have hardwood floors, so my air just does not get dirty. They reason i rated it so low is $400 is ridiculous price. No way should this product cost that much. 150$ would be fair. I am still not sure why i am keeping it. Overall it helps, but if i had $400 cash in my hand i would never part with it for this product. NEVER. But i really hate buying things and sending them back. I feel like it clogs the landfills, and it works ok, so i just suggest that you know what you want before buying this. As a humidifier it works ok, as a air cleaner, maybe ok, but that is if you think your air is dirty.

I've been using this unit for six months now, through a dry west Texas winter, keeping my apartment properly humidified for my musical instruments. As the mineral content in my area is very high, I was having trouble producing a result, but I bought a $30 Brita tank-style filter. In "tuning" this unit for my climate, I ended up using 50% more additive. This, combined with the filtered water, made all the difference.To maintain the ideal humidity of between 45% and 55% I was running through a bit more than a gallon a day. I have been checking it regularly and, thanks to the filtered water, I have only had to clean it once, but will do it again this weekend. My only issues: First, the factory recommendation of cleaning the wheels with a toothbrush is a bit of a joke. I'm not quite sure how to thoroughly clean the wheel array. Second, the eucalyptus stuff is not the same as using Vick's in a steam unit. It simply smells a bit like eucalyptus and not very good. After a couple of attempts to use this, I chucked all three bottles.

Purchased this a year ago and have found it to be very effective. I used to go through the paper filters and don't have to buy them anymore. I don't know why this is not found at Walmart because it is a great air washer and humidifier of all time.

Works great as claimed. It really met my expectations. It is very simple to use. This is the best by far.
