Those who think they know what they are talking about, are annoying the one's that do!
I have been an amplifier enthusiast, and the birth of home cinema I also embraced from the early days right the way through to now. I don't pretend to be a "professional" like some of the 1 star haters. If they are indeed "professionals" then my God, standards have dropped.I will say it and get it out of the way. Take no notice of the 1 star reviews as they clearly know nothing. First consider the price. You would think by the way they go on about melting cables, insulation ripping whilst separating the wire or fitting plugs, yaba yaba yaba. There ix nothing at all wrong with this speaker wire for the Home enthusiast.I will explain.Well, I've had 3 x 20m and every reel has been the full 20m everytime. I have used this on a 100wpc @ 8ohms Denon 7.2 system and that was driven hard as a cinema amp, and played for extended hours as a music amp loudly, I can do that as I live miles from other people, so no worry about complaints. I then upgraded to an even louder cinema amp, a Marantz Cinema 30 a £4000 140wpc 11.2 system, this too has been driven, just as the Denon, hard and my wires haven't melted. wWith both of these amps i have kept the same speakers via 8ohms again, using old but excellent, Monitor Audio Silver Floorstanders, and Tannoy Large Box Satellites + 2 x 8" Powered Subwoofers, if it ain't broke kinda thing. I did consider buying other speakers, but new speakers sound awful, and I didn't fancy breaking in for extended periods of time maybe 100 to 200 hours of loudish sound, be it music or audio designed to speed the process up.Thats a good tip for you genuine potential users. If you have reasonable quality speakers. Don't consider changing them unless there is a vast mismatch between a new amp. Run in speakers always have a warm soul about them, so don't huck them.I don't understand the haters out there, the ones giving it 1 *. These so called "professionals" are clearly not if they can't strip wire without it tearing. For the price, the quality is very good. I would say, it's ideal for runs of up to, 40ft, and will easily handle I guess 180wpc @ 8ohm, you certainly wouldn't want to use this guage on any larger run as the sound may start to suffer, any longer get the next thickest cable, 16AWG or if money isn'tan issue and you like to approach jobs, belt and braces, go one more to 18AWG, for any regular are larger house this will more than suffice, just ensure its solid copper wire NOT coated aluminium. Anything over this for the average enthusiast is overkill and a waste of money.Stripping wire and parting cables has never been an issue for me, not once. Forget these so called 1* "Professionals", if they are having the problems any of them are saying they are having then they are doing something wrong, very wrong. Obviously, you cannot compare this to cable costing £30 -£40 per meter, of course there is a difference between them, you wouldn't expect there not to be, but we are comparing chalk and cheese. That sort of cable is aimed at true audiophile equipment with amps starting anywhere in the £20000 -£60000 area and upwards and speakers starting and exceeding the amps I quoted. For the Home Cinema enthusiasts such as I, this wire is very good value for money and does its job very well. I have experienced 0 problems, i really don't know what planet they're on?Give it a go. If it's short then send it back, if it strips tearing the insulation send it back, if you have trouble fitting Banana Plugs, send it back. Don't forget, you get 30 days, or if these things happen along the way, the manufacturer gives you 3 years. You really do have nothing to lose.I highly recommend it. You're certainly getting the most bang for your buckThere is a saying i seem to recall. I may not get every word accurately, but it goes something like; Those who think they know what they are talking about, are annoying the one's that do! Very apt, when looking at the haters.

Good cable at a decent price
Having spent a fortune on cabling before, burying it in the walls and under the floors, this time I wasn’t going to spend as much.Bought this and again secreted it under floors and such to keep things tidy. I really cant tell the difference between this and previous much more expensive cables. Maybe it is all a scam and there is little difference, well unless you use the doorbell type cable and that really is a bit pish. The only other factor to take into account of little or no difference is the old fart’s hearing, with age it goes downhill, along with mental process, eyesight, sporting prowess, bedroom antics, patience with the younger generation, though we do excel at one thing – being grumpy. So I may not be able to discern any real difference but it could be the aged ears, the moral being that as you age your Hi-Fi equipment can be cheaper as you will never tell the difference and hammering out 70s and 80s was never about the fidelity, more the volume.Worth getting this for over 50s, if younger and you like to brag about your setup, go spend a fortune on something that sounds no different but gives you massive bragging rights

Quality Speaker Wire
This is by far the best speaker wire that I’ve dealt with & I was born a chronic music listener so I go through systems extremely fast despite my care for them, now sometimes I keep the speakers from a bust system to add to the new system because those speakers were so good so I’ve got speakers all over meaning speaker wire all over, or rather I used to have, basically I’ve used a lot of speaker wire & this is the best that I’ve used. It’s thick, it’s quality copper filled wiring, you get a good length of it (I think I got 10m) it’s easy to slip into Banana Plugs a little trickier to get it straight into a system because if it thicknesses but it’s doable it’s just little tricky. You will need cable strippers/cutters for a precise great job with this wire & a Stanley knife to carefully slice through the rather tough middle to separate the two ends for spacious connecting areas.I get a great sound using this wire & certain Banana Plugs & Speakers.
