We use it for the kid’s Fire tablet because there is no sound coming out of the device itself. It’s loud enough we have to ask them to turn it down. My husband uses it to hear music because it’s louder than his phone speakers. Very decent!

How long does it hold a charge

not very long. I only use it for my office, where I can plug it into a handy usb port and charge it, lasts maybe an hour ... ish?

Can this be used to boost the volume on my fire 10 hd (5th generation)? during my zoom yoga lessons, i have trouble hearing the instructor.

I believe that it would help some. I use it with my kindle when listening to audio books. Still have to be pretty close to the kindle, but without the speaker I would have problems hearing.
