Good card if you don't need RTX
This is still a decent card in May 2023 if you don't need RTX and don't want all the very latest PC games to run at maxed out settings. Also, if you run at 1080p, this is a decent card - not recommended for 4k though. The problem is the 6GB VRAM, which is fine for a lot of games but which is getting low for newer games. Even the latest version of Adobe apps now recommends 8GB of VRAM for AI functions, but still, I upgraded from a 980 GTX with 4GB VRAM and it is a nice little upgrade, increasing FPS in many games and allowing me to run apps more efficiently. An easy install and the card runs quite cool and the fans are quiet. At the moment I can run the latest Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom well with this card, but 32GB RAM or more is a must for those.
