I loved this book when I was a little girl. My grandma used to read it to me when I went to visit her, over 50 years ago. I am not sure what happened to that book but was thrilled to see it in print again. Passing it down to a beautiful little girl who will love it also.

Grin’s Fairytales can be incredibly macabre. This selection of stories gets the point across without being graphic in the slightest. The pictures are great, and the stories aren’t too long or too short. Very pleased with the purchase!

i love reading to my 18 month old little girl she loves picture books she plops right in front of me and we go threw book after book...i wanted something a little more story wise a little lengthy i looked everywhere and came across this! when my little girl is laying down relaxing falling asleep i read this out loud to her and she loves it! ive only read the first story so far thumbelina it wasnt to long or short and it wasnt hard to read.cant wait to read the next one to her

superb!My Niece’s four year old adores this book. Great illustrations in bright colours! Suitable for + 6/7 year old onwards to read on their own!There is I think at least one other book same series which I also bought.

Not all pages comes with pictures. A bit disappointed.

Lovely quality. Beautiful illustrations. Just right for reading to 6yr old granddaughter and now she’s reading chapterised books it’s just right for her to read to me without getting bored. We do a page each. Some Grimm stories are a bit scary so maybe a good idea to be with the child if they’re sensitive.

Enjoyable intro to some of the classic tales. Colourful pictures on every page. These are not the Disney versions. My 8 year old enjoyed these.
