Good concentration of HCL with buffers. Taken 20-30 min before food works exceptionally well. Must have a good 20+ minute head start to prepare stomach to receive food and help breakdown and digest. It leaves terrible heartburn without adequate lead time to dissolve capsule ahead of food.

I always see people talking about bloating and gas and no one understands why. And while most people are taking tums, they're doing the wrong thing for their gut and digestion. When you digest food, your first line of defense is your stomach acid. If your stomach acid is not enough, you will not break down the food and on digested food will go into your gut and ferment, which is the gas effect. So essentially if you take this product the sibo you think you have is usually just not enough stomach acid and if you take this with enzymes you will reduce all the bad effects of non-digestion that in most of the population has. I take two of these with every meal and I take it with two holozymes and I have had such an improvement in gut health it's astounding. This is the biggest thing you can do for repairing leaky gut.

Another disappointment from this company - Healthy Gut. Didn't help my digestion at all. I get an awful feeling of heart burn when I take this. So sad.

my 87 yr. old mother started having bad stomach pains every night she would eat red meat which she loves. I did some online research and ran into this product. I bought a bottle for her to try and so far it has worked well. I also discovered some other things while researching the subject that i asked her to do like consciously making sure to chew up her food better, cut it in smaller pieces and to not have fried potatoes with the red meat which she almost always did. she is doing all of it and so far so good.

I've been using Digestzymes for the past 3 years and thought I'd give this supplement a try. I have gut issues and am gluten and dairy intolerant. I tried this at three different times with different meals. Unfortunately each time, I actually got very bloated and uncomfortable. I wanted the product to work but it didn't. I should have bought it directly from the manufacturer because I could have returned it for my money back. Should have done a better job of researching before buying on Amazon since they won't let me return the product. Costly $55.39 experiment! Hope it works for other people.
