I’ve bought these type of ladder chairs in the past and they were much better quality and finished. Part’s didn’t line up exactly and the instructions are a bit weak. There are no plugs to cover the screw holes and the latch is extremely cheap metal and very weak. This is not a product I would purchase again

This chair is easy to put together. It is solid, built fairly strong....but the chemical smell is so bad. It could be the paint or the formaldehyde. Since it is shipping to America and the lack of regulations of factories in China, they could care less of what they ship to American buyers. I used baking soda dampen the smell. It's a useful chair but....really annoyed by the chemicals.
