Absolutely a great product with an assortment that comes at a value. I purchased so that I can plug and unplug a snow plow controller that is normally hardwired between the interior cab through the firewall to the power supply and snow plow. Easy to use, anyone can wire this up with basic tools. This plug set up allows me to disconnect the joystick controller and pack it away when not in use.

Reviews note the contacts you put in and crimp are a bit delicate. They are, that's true. Still, I think you can make a usable pigtail socket of these (I did). Re the discussion in these reviews about the crimping tool you use... You don't really need a tool, you can use a needle nose pliers and get it right. Overall, handy kit that's very cheap. If you care a lot about such things in your build you may want to spend more for a little better robustness.

I took a chance on these connectors because they looked like the correct mating connectors for my Ducati. I built a custom tail light assembly fro a new exhaust system. These connectors fit perfectly with the existing wiring harness on the bike. If I decide to go back to the factory set up I don't have to cut and redo the harness just a simple swap. In general the connectors seem to be good quality and the remainder of the parts will get used on other projects needing a weatherproof system.

Was missing all of the 4-pin red connector inserts for the male plugs. Other than that they were good.

I have used this set a few times. Great for potentially wet applications. I used these to wire up my tail lights on my project car. Easy to use, secure crimping, and solid snap lock.

Poor engagement of the pins and sockets into the connector. So poor that when the connectors are engaged it forces the pins out because there is little to no locking of the pins/sockets on the plastic. Very poor quality kit, will not waste my time on this junk.

Good product for the price. Was able to fix the few clips I needed to replace.

The connectors are not waterproof but water resistant. The rubber/vinyl plugs do not prevent water from penetrating the connectors. The plastic housing can not be installed when temperatures are around 0C as the plastic becomes brittle and will/does break. Could not find any info on the amperage rating for the connectors so upgraded lights to LEDSs on tractor to reduce amperage . Recommend using electrolytic grease on connectors to minimize potential for corrosion if connectors are exposed to moisture
