FLEOR 20x17cm Acoustic Pickguard Blank Material Self Adhesive Guitar Pick Guard Scratch Plate Sheet, Brown Tortoise

Wanted a pickguard for this guitar but didn't want to have one custom made. Came across this and thought I'd give it a try. Item was listed for acoustic guitars but I came across reviews and pictures of using it on electric guitars. I had already made my template out of paper. I just used scissors to cut it out and used sandpaper around the edges for the finishing touch. I had read reviews so knew I could sand and these sheets were thicker than regular colors even though still thin. Just be aware if you use these to make your template outline on the color side of the paper! Don't use the back 3M side or your pickguard will not work, it will fit but on the OPPOSITE side you need. Also, it sticks well so make sure your placement is spot on the first time. Just take your time to do it right. Overall very pleased, relatively easy to do and saved myself some money and time.

Easy to install and use! I put on a guitar that I received as a wedding gift from my wife that she wrote on, so I placed over her handwriting to seal it and can see that it’s not going anywhere now! High quality, low cost solution of protecting a guitar that you want to have shine for the foreseeable future without changing the appearance. Best application would be on flat surfaces guitars—no arch tops.

I cut new pick guard for my guitar. The dark tortoise is realistic looking. Fairly thin but still works well as a scratch guard and looks ok. Easily cut with scissors, but pay particular attention to the direction that you want your pick guard to face because you have to trace the shape onto the back where the 3M paper is so it's actual the opposite direction when you flip it over to finished side. I gave 4 stars for not having directions in the package calling attention to this for those of us who have never cut a replacement pick guard before, which would have saved me from making this rookie mistake and having to order another one.

This tortoise shell patterned material is well printed and looks good. It is firm, but flexible enough that it is easy to cut to shape with scissors. It has a clear removable overlay and 3M adhesive on back, making it easy to install. There was enough material for two pick guards.

Had high hopes for this given reviews & fairly decent looking photos of the opaque options, but unfortunately the transparent pickguard sheet was ultimately worthless. It has a bumpy texture to the adhesive side, which is incredibly apparent against a dark finish. Aside from the texture, it's not clear/transparent--it has more of a milky/cloudy plastic look, not at all as pictured, which appears to be closer to a glass transparency. Had to rip this off and throw it away, absolute waste of time/money.

I've been looking for this exact color and material for a flamenco golpeador (tapa/pickguard) for a while (months)...decided to take a chance on this and order 3...in case it was good I would have extra for later or other projects, and for the price you can't go wrong even if not an exact match...well it's perfect!!! It blends so well with my guitar...you can barely see a little bit of the outline on the photo of the guitar I've included. I gave it 4 stars only because the size could be a little bigger for creativity and desing flexibility...otherwise, 5 stars. Highly recommend, super fast shipping too! Update: Changing rating to 5 stars! Two of the blanks had minor creases on them. Contacted the Seller and Seller about the issue and Seller apologized for the inconvenience...fast response too. Seller directed me to initiate a refund/return with Amazon. I received a replacement one day ahead of time and the blank is in perfect condition. Ordering more of these!

For the price, I was extremely happy. And I’d buy them again. I mean it’s only $7 so you can’t really have super high expectations of perfection on minute details. My description is: Decent sheen. Good traditional aesthetics. A little thin. Easy to cut and sand. I bought pearl and used mine to mount pots on a pedal steel. I had to mount the pick guard on to sturdier plastic which I expected I might have to do. If you’re drilling holes in these, drill from the back. The bit might bite and tear the pick guard if you don’t.

This was received before the date provided, so I was happy with that. I ordered the black and the dark tortoise shell. Both looked great. Used to make custom pickguard. Easy to get a good finished item with scissors and fine sandpaper for the edges. Backed with the 3M adhesive - VERY sticky, so exercise extreme focus when applying this!

Impeccable ! La plaque est assez fine pour la couper aux ciseaux et l’adhésif suffisamment fort pour pour coller malgré la surface rugueuse et sale qu’avait laissé l’ancien collage. Et ça en jette sur ma guitalélé !

Se lo puse a una guitarra de nylon para tocar flamenco y rumbas gitanas, y todo bien, se ve bien (adjunto foto de la mica transparente) y lo importante, protege la guitarra de golpes, rayones, rasgueos, etc.

Gute Qualität, lässt sich gut bearbeiten. Würde ich wieder nehmen.
