Question to cosori: why do i see on my checkout a prop 65 warning about lead for this product? it’s not true that ca requires all products to have it

After handling the cord it would be best practice to wash hands with soap to avoid transferring any lead to food or your mouth. The same is true for many extension cords and electrical cords. Young children are the most susceptible to lead poisoning, so they should not be touching or playing with electrical cords. Some electrical cords are lead-free but many still have lead and the presence or absence of a Prop 65 label is not always a reliable way of telling the difference.
