What type of battery does it use aa or aaa?

It's electric. No batteries. But it's worthless. The light is not chargeable and ours burned in less than a month. So we had to just throw it in trash can! Total waste of money

Is there a warranty? If yes what does it cover and for how long?

Generally, our customers have never faced any issues with the product. However, there is 15 days warranty on the Remote and 30 days on the LED.

Why does the light keep going off all of a sudden

It could be the reason for low charging.
