Its a beast. NO problems. I kept it humming transferring files for over a week. Did not get hot, just worked and worked well.

Amazing and Easy
Wow, it was so easy to get this hooked up to Mac Studio M2 Max. I have used a Seagate for 10yrs and will always buy Seagate Drives in the future.

Dependable
Using this for Time Machine backup. I already filled up an 8T of the same make. It's dependable.

Ready to use out of the box.
Perfect for backup of photos and documents. Don't expect a lot of speed in downloading to the drive but its a backup! Can be formatted for Mac....I use windows. Best value in my opinion to keep those valuable family and vacation photos and video.

Best external drive I own
I bought this too empty a 4 TB external drive to do a system image of my PC. This transfers data very fast with the 3.0 USB line. I had a little over 2 TB to transfer and took less that an hour to finish. Fastest external drive I have ever owned I think. Very happy with it.

Back up of your files you can count on
Received and working fine as expected. I used a Seagate backup drive before; now I have the entire backup of my computer on it. Very happy with the product!

Does what it says for sure.
Works really well. Transfer speeds are better than you'd expect and it's easy to manage. Bear in mind that this is a large item, not really for portable usage. Just what I needed.
