Works well
I have a few hobbies that occasionally need to do soldering for. This works well and I was happy with the performance. I think it worked better than the cheap stuff I had before. This thickness was also easier to work with for a circuit board I soldered components to.

Its worth a little extra $ for the better stuff (like this Kester 44)
I'm retired now but I was the 'go to' guy for SMD and all other sorts of soldering at several major companies. I tried the 'west of the pacific' solder and they were just not worth bothering with. I did have some successes. But I also had some abject failures. Now I think for something I do so rarely now I'll just stick with Kester since I have faith and experience with them and I just don't want to mess up some more expensive stuff with saving a buck.

Among the best for many decades
This was the best in the 1960's. It is still excellent.
