Escali DH1 Gourmet Digital Meat Thermometer with Extra Long Probe, NSF Certified, Black

Useful for checking temperature - work horse. Bought this in 2020 and it is still working strong with original battery. Very easy to clean the stainless steel probe. The thermometer is light weight and ergonomic. It is easy to use - press the button for turning it on and then it gives you the option to read in Celsius/Farenheit. It reads accurately and I have had excellent results with my food in the kitchen thanks to this thermometer. It is durable - been using it for 5+ years. The quality and material is good too. Would buy again if I lost it or it somehow broke.

This is one of the best probe thermometers I have found. Quick deep reading for accurate temps. I was a professional cook and you need this for meat and poultry.

Works great but the lcd screen has started to blank out occasionally :/

Item failed to work after washing with very little soap and water. Didn't wash the mechanism at all, just the metal stem. Changed battery and still nothing. Ordered the exact same item and received a different thermometer that was black and a different model. I returned it then tried again hoping they made an error on shipping. Nope. Received the same wrong one again. My wife likes the blue one but I received a black one of a different model twice. I have one strike left. If I get the wrong model again I will give up and never order it again. Dang! Wish me luck!

Excelente producto

Would have been great if we didn’t need a tiny screwdriver just to put the battery in… I can’t even use it until then and the stick temp is oddly the thickest I’ve seen so far.. I’m not trying to blow out what I’m temping at work but I’m unhappy with needing the screwdriver so I have yet to give a proper review.

I use this every day. I work in a busy kitchen where it is necessary to temp constantly. Though it is just a bit long and sticks up worn in my chef coat sleeve, the utility of the length is great. It will reach to the back of the oven, bottom of the pot or probe the large protein cuts with ease. It has a simple on and off button and no other useless functions that just get in the way. The display is also straightforward and easy to read while you're in the weeds. The sleeve has a great temp reference guide and I can see how it would be a great addition to the home kitchen or by the grill when you're looking for the perfect mid-rare.

Eu gostaria que o visor fosse claro. Quando uso para medir em uma garrafa, chaleira ou algo assim que esteja quente, o visor fica escuro e não dá pra ver.

This has been a lifechanger! I had held off on getting one of these for a long time but finally caved and got one! I am glad I got this one, it is really well designed, easy to use and accurate.
