What is the width and length?

The 36 inch (wide) pad is 14 inches back to front and 3 inches high. The four corners are square. My bench has rounded corners and this sits perfectly within the inside dimensions from the vertical spindles.

How thick is the cushion?

Without measuring, I’d say it’s definitely not cheap in any way. Very plush and hard. We have it on a metal bench and it’s very comfortable.
