Durable and well made. Tried a cheaper product, which fell apart the first time it was dropped on the floor! Far better to spend a bit more and buy this Rossie Lap Tray.

Intended as a gift for my Dad (est. 1927), the idea of a tray with a built-in cushion was the perfect birthday gift that I knew was needed and would be used daily.After an exhaustive trawl online, and having read multiple reviews of so many alternative trays that didn’t live up to expectations, I came across this one and not only liked the excellent design, but noticed so many high-rated reviews. I ordered the Rossie Home tray in Acacia Wood.It arrived promptly (sooner than expected) and my Dad is totally delighted with it (telling anyone and everyone how good it is!). It is not only built from a beautifully finished solid wood, it is extremely well made and finished and has some useful design features that genuinely set this tray above the competition imo.It has handles either side, making the tray easy to move/carry. Also, one edge (that faces the user) is reducers in height, meaning it doesn’t get in the way if the tray is being used for dinners, etc.Overall, the tray has a bit of weight to it, but this just gives it stability and the (detachable) cushion moulds very well to the lap and means the tray can be levelled and will hold its position.Yes, it costs more than some of the competition, but ‘you get what you pay for’ and I cannot emphasise enough all the positives that go into making this tray a 10/10 and unequivocally worth buying.

I love the trays. I thought it came with the basket as was shown on the website. I paid like $75.00 which I felt included the basket to put them away. I only received the 2 trays. This was disappointing to me.

I ordered two. My husband and I use these frequently when eating in the living room and watching television. The fabric and hard top are both well made. I like the handles for easy carrying and the ability to unsnap the bottom for cleaning.

Exactly what I wanted. Removable cushion cover so it can be washed if needed. I would do cold water delicate lay flat to dry so it does not shrink. Lipped edge so your pen or glasses or phone or even your fork or whatever else wont fall off on to the floor. Love the handles too. If I needed a second one, I would definitely buy another.
