That's what Vegan Leather means...but these are nice, and comfortable!

My feet sweat, are they breathable?

No! I wear Dri-tech Moisture Control Sock and my feet still feel hot after a while.

Can you remove the insole?

I haven't tried removing the insole yet but, I will see if it can be removed. But the comfort and leather are very nice and sturdy!

Looks nice, but it's slippery

This is a nice shoe. It fits well and is comfortable. It's very slippery, however. While walking in a restaurant the bottom was slipping with a dry floor. It would be horrible if the floor was wet. It looks nice, but I wish it had better grip
