Will not except the code?

We also had this problem after calling the numerous on the back who couldn't help we called Nintendo who was able to tell us the code only works in Europe and not in the US. This is nowhere in the description so we are now on hold so see if amazon will give us a refund.

Same issue, says the release date hasn’t happened yet and this game is from 2021.

Entered the code on several occasions an got a message stating it was not a valid code.  Is there any trick to this?

I am so sorry you are having trouble with your code. Respectfully, I suggest getting in touch with the game’s manufacturer. I have not run into any code problems before this, so I asked “bing”. Here is that response:

“A possible reason for the code problem is that your Nintendo Switch eShop region does not match the region of the code. A download code can only be redeemed on a Nintendo eShop set to the same region as the download code2. For example, a code sold for use in Australia can only be redeemed with a Nintendo Account also set to Australia. You can check your eShop region and change it if necessary by following these steps2:
From the HOME Menu, select System Settings.
Scroll down and select Nintendo eShop Settings.
Select the picture of your icon in the upper-right corner to access your Account Information.
Highlight Region and press the A Button.
Select Change Region.
Select Next.
Select I Accept to agree to the Nintendo Account User Agreement.
Select a country/region from the list.
