Schogetten German Dark Chocolate (Pack of 6)

May be a little less expensive from Aldis but when unable to drive, it's worth the additional expense. Has a rich flavor and comes in small squares to each box so I allow myself 3 pieces without eating the entire box.

I adore this chocolate! Typically, I pop one small square into my mouth and allow it to slowly melt. My whole mouth savors the intense dark chocolate flavor. Clearly, this German chocolate is the real thing. Having each bar already divided into individual squares means there’s less temptation to eat too much—a single square satisfies that chocolate craving.My latest order of Schogetten was extremely well wrapped in a foil envelope that contained the chocolate, which was encased in bubble wrap with an “ice brick” to keep it from melting. I really appreciate the careful packing.

I have purchased this favorite dark chocolate off and on again from Ocean State Job Lot and Aldi's in Middletown, Rhode Island. When I would head back to San Francisco for the winter and spring, I would miss this brand. On a lark, I checked Amazon, and lo and behold I found it! It's in a 6-bar package, but that's OK - I go through it quite quickly! Good price and quick shipping.

As usual, these chocolates are fresh, and delicious! As my friend says, 'Each piece is big enough to satisfy a chocolate fix, but small enough that you don't feel guilty about having two'.

I’ve purchased this chocolate directly from Germany in the past and love it.I was so happy to see that I could get this online and at a very reasonable price.Unfortunately, before I opened the package, I noticed the expire date was in the past.I went ahead and opened one box and the chocolate had that white chalky hue. I tried one piece and it is definitely old.So disappointing. Paid for 6 boxes at a total loss.

Just the right balance of bitter and sweet and perfectly smooth like only European chocolate can be.

Each piece is pre-separated so you can shake them out one at a time. Open at end for easy access. I chocolate is very good. My preference would be a little less sugar and higher percentage of cocoa, but this is still awfully good.

Love these chocolates. They are a real tasty treat for dark chocolate and a go to for me.
