They start out very tight, to the point you can't really put them around your wrist comfortably, which I assume most of us like to do. They're alright in terms of holding hair - I have super thick hair and I use 2 to tie it. At a certain point they do lose elasticity and need to be replaced so it's good that there are 100, but it does feel a little wasteful.

I'm growing my hair, so the majority of the hair bobbles are too big and have to wrap around my hair what feels like a thousand times, but in reality 5.Saw these are they are so much thinner and I thought more suitable for my hair .How wrong was I? They plus is that that are slimmer, but not 'smaller' (hops that makes sense) and I still needed to wrap around half a dozen of times to secure my bump of a ponytail.By doing so 3 snapped within a matter of minutes, and when I got one to stay in, it slipped down.It may be that my hair type and length, or lack of it and are just not suitable for these.

It ok for thin hair. Definitely not for thick hair but if you plate your hair then that be fine.I had to give this away to my nieces
