Lettuce Raft 72-12 Pack

Absolutely love this product. Perfect for hydroponic lettuce growing. I like the fact that this isn't your standard Styrofoam, as it's stronger and won't leach any unwanted chemicals into the water. Which your big box home improvement stores sell for construction purposes and not for growing food. I would like it to be cheaper, however you get what you pay for and this is a quality product

I found using 1” rock wool was easiest to use. I grew lettuce in dirt first but they are easy to separate and wrap snuggly in the rock wool. Don’t waste your money on Smart Plugs. They weren’t a good medium for germination. I bought 3 rafts and planted lettuce , spinach, and onions. All plants seem happy and zero transplant shock. I am floating these on my natural pond. I was so excited I ordered 3 more so I can do kale, chard and basil.

Everything came on time and in great condition. Only one board came slightly roughed up BUT it didn't effect anything just the look. And holes were a little small , that'll take some work to fix but luckily it's styrofoam.

Rafts are holding up well, but not worth the money for something I could have made myself for 1/3 of the price. I'll make my own next time.

I was looking for a high quality floating raft at a reasonable price to replace another one that has tripled in price over the past year. The Beaver Plastics 2x4 raft is a good value and arrived quickly.

I have not used them yet but the arrived intact and when and as advertised.

I thought the holes would be bigger Like for 2" net pots. But my fault for not researching more. Other than that, they are top quality.
