We got this rug pad to go under the rug in our daughter’s room. The pad is ok, and it does provide a lot of cushion. The drawback is it’s not as sticky as we expected. The rug shifts so the pad is showing, so we have to reposition it frequently. My point of reference is a ruggable brand rug with pad, and we have been pleased with that system. We were hoping to save a little bit of money by going with an Amazon rug and pad this time, but we definitely got what we paid for.

These are so superior to the cheaper rug pads I previously purchased from Amazon. These are truly 1/4" thick and lay nice and flat.
