Yes, anyone who says otherwise dont know better. anything past 15-20 youll have to buffer, passive system, boost signal somehow to avoid signal loss.. thicker aws cables can help some but not much. . anything past 10ft in my exp youll lose some punch and harmonics.. more and your pickups will sound vegan. . IMO for long runs youll want a wireless system and hopefully your pickups will behave nice w them.

(instrument cables) Balanced cables are XLR (mic cables and other cables that have 3 wires) If it has 2 wires or 2 separations it is not balanced For guitar you dont need a balanced guitar cable.
