Very effective.
I used to swear by Riemann P20 but I got sick of the luminous yellow stains it kept leaving on white clothing.I decided to try this, looking for an all day cream for a holiday in Italy's baking heat that would involve a lot of walking. It fit the bill perfectly, preventing any burns even after a lot of sweating. It also has a pleasant fresh scent compared to the either coconut or chemical smells normally associated with sunscreen.I wouldn't call it "non-greasy" though, just "less greasy", as its still not the most pleasant to apply. However, it does absorb well and the extended protection meant it wasn't something I had to deal with often. It is also a cream and doesn't in any way resemble a gel, so I'm not sure where the term "sun gel" came from. Even the marketing images on the Life Jacket website clearly show it is a white cream.Obviously this isn't the best value in compact form but it is very convenient. I'd recommend trying it either way and will definitely buy a bigger bottle next time. The sample of Life Jacket daily repair moisturiser I received with the sun screen is also amazing and has tempted me to try other products in their range.

Very best SPF50 for sporty people
First class value - a years supply for £20 and waterproof, dry non greasy but be careful around the eyes as it does sting. Otherwise first class product and well recommended.

Good product no white residue
Brought this to use on my old and new tattoos because of the UVA and UVB protection. Factor 50s I’ve used before have been super thick and left a really strong white stain. I got this because it said Gel. Not quite a “gel” texture but it’s light, absorbes quickly and doesn’t leave any mark. It has a light smell which doesn’t seem to last which is fine for me. I’d definitely buy again but a little goes a long way so this should last a good while I think.

All-day protection for sports
Have been using this for a year or two and not let me down.Used it for long cycle events where you are out all day and sweating and the best product I have used. Does not sweat or rub off or run into your eyes. Also easy to apply.

My everyday
I bought this as I presumed a product aimed at men would do a good job without being faffy. It's great!I work with horses, I sweat a lot and am in the sun pretty much all day. I have extremely fair skin (red head). I wear this every day on my face and neck. It doesn't sting if it gets in my eyes like some do (just kinda makes them ache a little if I do), never feels greasy and my skin hasn't burnt at all. Just about to buy my second big bottle

Leaves a white cast
It leaves a white cast and doesn't for skin with dark complexion. It don't see a big difference when compared with other reasonably priced sun creams. Its not for me.

Gel - If you call think white cream gel... then yes.
Very mixed review from me. First of all, I do have some very positive feedback to offer on the most important side of using this sunscreen - how well it performed in 32c-35c sun/heat of Eygpt. The result was excellent, its protection was first class, I have had some prickly heat issues anytime I go on holiday to a sunny destination, but this time I did not, and also I did not burn #5Star. Why I have dropped to 4Star? Well, I ordered this on the back it is labelled as a Sun Protection GEL - and a gel it is not, it's maybe technically a gel, but a think white cream to me is cream - a gel to me is a more clear transparent liquid. Why do I moan about this? Well, going back to my prickly heat issue I travelled to Australia several years back and used a gel suncream which was first class for my skin. So when searching Amazon, my key search words were 'Gel Sunscreen' - and I found this and it was labelled as a Sun Protection GEL. To be honest, I only checked the sunscreen the day before leaving for the holiday, If I had checked prior to that and had time, the product would have been sent back as the description does not match the product. Again the Gel to me is a cream, even down to the application to my skin, it feels like a cream rather than gel. Other pointers that pushed to a 3Star, it was a bit sticky and was not great with sweat - On the sweating side, I was lucky because there was a decent breeze that kept me cool for all but one of the days and on that day I did find the cream did not perform as well. Will I buy this product again, I'm 50/50, depends if I can find another Gel Sunscreen.
