Dove Shampoo 4 count Intensive Repair for Damaged Hair with Bio-Protein Care Technology and Amino Serum 12 Fl Oz

I made the mistake of trying new shampoo that made my hair so dull and straw-like. I did a Reddit deep dive to find some suggestions on a "drug store" shampoo that would be comparable to salon-quality at a fraction of the price. This specific shampoo/conditioner was recommended quite frequently, so I decided to give it a try.Very, very glad I did, it has saved my hair! My hair feels hydrated, soft, it's shiny and smooth. My ends look healthy and feel soft when they were dry and crispy before. The pump bottles make this an even better product, as I have grip issues and holding a wet soapy bottle in the shower is not ideal. It's a large bottle, too, so even though I have thick, long hair, I feel like I'll still get a good amount of use out of the shampoo.I use this with the same conditioner and can't recommend it enough. It leaves a nice scent and has improved the quality of my hair so, so much!

Background: I wash my hair every day, using the Purology dupe from Costco. I have thin hair that goes oily very easily, so I typically don't use any conditioner. I just had my hair highlighted (baby lights), and my hairdresser said my hair needs some serious love. She asked me NOT to wash it every day, especially after the treatment, and to give bonding/repairing shampoos/conditioners a try. She insisted I use a conditioner. Of course, she recommended Olaplex, but off I went to YouTube for a full day, and found this Dove line and few additional products could work just as well to repair my hair. Same active ingredients as in the more expensive products.Review: I'm VERY impressed by this shampoo and conditioner. I saw a noticeable difference within 1 week of using! I use the conditioner after every wash, and it does NOT weigh my thin hair down. Can't beat the price, and can't beat Dove. Generous size, will last me a while. Will definitely repurchase.(Per the hours spent on YouTube, I also use 1 squirt of OGX Nourishing Coconut Milk the night before I wash the hair, and Elizavecca's Hair Essence oil on damp hair, after I wash and condition with Dove Intensive Repair. Happy camper here, highly recommend it all).

I really love this shampoo. Made my really dry du ll hair healthy again! Love the way it feels and smells. The only problem I had was the pump lol. It wasn’t working I kept twisting and trying to get it to work so I ended up having to keep opening it to get the product. If anyone knows how to fix this problem please lmk thank you!

My favorite shampoo so far. I have very fine hair and have issues with it falling out. This shampoo makes my hair feel so much thicker and healthier. I have a beautiful shine and it makes my hair so soft. I use this shampoo and the Grandpa Soap buttermilk conditioner and my hair feels better than it has in years!

I mean for the price that it is at ($8 right now). This shampoo is pretty good, my hair is not damaged at all, however I do use conditioner as well. There also a faint pleasant smell, so I like this product.

Like many here, I was influenced to buy this shampoo by Abbey Yung and well, our girl did not tell a lie. This shampoo is phenomenal. My hair has never felt softer, more moisturized or looked shinier. The smell is insane. If they made a perfume with this scent, I'd be first in line to buy it. But if you're sensitive to scent, don't let this deter you because it's a very neutral clean scent. The texture of the shampoo feels very luxurious, like a high-end shampoo. I bought this a couple months ago and am about halfway done with the bottle so the value is amazing. I look forward to a long relationship with this shampoo (and the conditioner too!)
