yes, you will need to run the wire all the way to the front. it's not Bluetooth which is easier

If you have it connected to your reverse light wire it will come on automatically when shifting in reverse make sure you have it wired correctly

Can we move distance line to left or right

There is no adjustment with exception of a 1/4" or more in the mount itself from side to side.
