Oral-B iO6 Electric Toothbrushes For Adults, 1 Toothbrush Head, 5 Modes with Teeth Whitening, 2 Pin Plug, Black Lava, Travel Case Colour May Vary

This is my sixth electric toothbrush and I have always gone for the cheaper range and found that the batteries don’t last long , I opted for this model (i06) which should have been £300 but in the sale was £109 so was a great bargain. I can say that this is the best toothbrush I have ever used , it has multiple modes , easy to hold and gives a fantastic clean . My only criticism would be the cost of replacement heads , but when you consider they last for approx 2/3 months each that works out about £15 for 6 months of cleaning which isn’t to bad . Definitely recommended.

Have been using Oral-B for years and this one builds on their great range of toothbrushes. Better made than my last 8000 series one, as there is no rubber to deteriorate. Can’t do without one of these now. Update After 3 years, the battery stopped holding charge, but as I had an extended warranty, I got a replacement sent out after about a week, so I gave the replacement to my daughter and got myself an iO8

Great toothbrush, awful battery. I bought this toothbrush 17 months ago after trying one out at my dentist. It's fabulous at making your teeth feel super clean, I use it with the gentle heads to protect my gums. The battery however is abysmal. I'm lucky if it lasts for 4 days. It'll tell me there's 40% left and then shut off half way through brushing. So disappointed as it wasn't cheap. Looks like I'm switching to Sonicare.

Some months back, we bought an Io6 and an Io8 at the same time. The Io8 had to replaced immediately because of battery failure and its replacement has already failed again. The Io6 which is the subject of this review is to replace the failed Io8. Strongly recommend the Io6.

For many years I've not looked after my teeth the greatest and dentist told me that I'm missing vital parts of my teeth, I got this after research for the money I was willing to spend this was the best one within my budget. First of all coming from a normal tooth brush its generally life changing mainly because of the app and quality of brushing , my teeth have improved night and day in space of a month after using this, so in terms of brushing quality and the app as a package its fantastic as well as the cleaning modes and they are all useful. The issue with the iO6 pacifically maybe others is all t do with battery, first of all the charging cable that comes inside the box is not a universal type C and I absolutely hate companies forcing their own connections, USB C should be a standard and legal requirement but thats another argument. The cable it comes with only comes with a shaver adaptor and many older houses and cheaper hotels do not have this connection so I had to fork out extra for a usb version witch you 'd think would be a standard in the box option but id imagine they get a commission of you having to buy another cable that is their oral B fitting similar to the lighting port method apple do. lastly, the io6 is designed purposefully to charge slow, even on one of my power banks, the power bank will only charge devices thats asking for power if no power request is asked for within a few seconds my power bank shuts of to save its power. So when using my oral b i06 on my power bank to charge, my power bank system will shut off because its not getting a constant power request. Essentially Oral B force the i06 to slow down, I mean what battery this small takes 12 hours to charge? I dont like this practice if you need to remove features to make the model within your price point or for a reason to buy upgraded models do not force the battery to charge slow with your special connection. That said I do like the truth brush overall but I do question how long the battery will work for which is yet to be seen.

Early days but early indications show excellent results. Not sure if I am going to use the Bluetooth options so cannot comment on these.

I thought long and hard before spending just over £100 on a toothbrush and a further £25 on replacement heads. The heads for other toothbrushes in the OralB range don’t fit this model. I’ve had no dental check up for over two years as my dentist is only taking emergency appointments and I’m keen to do my best to prevent dental problems. I’ve used electric toothbrushes for some years and was disappointed that my last OralB purchase only lasted a couple of years before it stopped holding charge. This model is more expensive and claims to clean better. I was sceptical, but having bought and used it for about a month, it’s amazing. The cleaning action is different and the brush bristles seem to reach between the teeth better than my old brush. This has a range of settings from a deep powerful clean to a gentle clean and after trying the most powerful for a couple of days, I’ve settled on the regular setting for dai,y use. There are flashing lights, which are entertaining but unnecessary. There’s also an App which links to usage, but I haven’t set that up. It’s the cleaning action that I’m interested in and I have to say this is the best toothbrush I’ve ever used. The extra cost will be well worth it if it saves dentist expenses and I’m very happy to recommend this brush.

Der Oral B Karton war mit braunem Paketband zugeklebt und es Fehlte der Bürstenkopf. Daher sofort zurück. Ich finde es auch sehr bedenklich ein Hygiene Produkt weiter zu Verkaufen.

It should be in the title, it's not working and now I have no option but to throw it away, didn't realize it has no warranty, very very disappointed, better spend more money and get from a good supplier with warranty!!!!
