Hi dear friends, this product itself has no recording function.We have a similar product in our house that can be connected to a video recording device. It should be possible to achieve the effect you want to record and record video.

What is the difference between nvg7 and pvs7?

A US pvs-7 is a better built unit, and you can find replacement parts for them still. This nvg7 unit isn't as robust, and uses a low quality Russian gen 2 image intensifier along with generally inferior quality glass. For a bit more a gen 3 pvs-7 is the way to go.
