CAT Men's Revolver Pull-on Steel Toe Construction Boot

Good product, I liked the brown color, very durable. For construction work, I ordered size 7.5, I would definitely buy them again.

I don't do any heavy duty work so these should last me a long time. I drive for a paving company and the one requirement is work boots so I thought I'd give these a try. I have had a pair of wolverine boots in the past doing tree work and I loved them but I'm trying CAT. If they remain comfy cause that's my biggest thing, I'll eventually get a 2nd pair for my yard boots. Size was perfect, doesn't slip when wet, they function as they should, my foot feels well protected, and I guess you could say they are warm but not too hot..

These boots are nice but several issues......at first. Very excited to receive new boots! Out of box, on feet, initially felt okay. I did notice that the right boot was considerably tighter than the left boot. May be due to the phenomenon of one foot being larger than the other. Not sure. Wore around house for a while to get feel. Decided to put them to work the next day. First day on job, left boot okay, a little loose and floppy, however, the right boot destroyed my ankle. Painful rubbing resulted in blister. Very sad. Lawn maintenance and the 6 hours of brisk walking is not fun with painful boots! I got home, used mink oil to condition leather purchased Dr. Scholl's insoles "GEL" and long boot style tube socks. The insoles lifted my ankle above the area inside the boot that was rubbing and snugged up the left boot a little. Combined with the socks, I thought I had solved the problem! But no. It had just begun. Left boot still a little loose so I added a crew sock over my long boot sock. That did the trick for the left boot. The right boot, being tight already, I just left it alone. Went to work the next day and the right boot rubbed a painful blister on the back of my heel! Holy cow was I ever aggravated! I tried an additional sock for cushion and still a lot of pain. With bandaids, mole skin, extra socks I worked through a good two weeks of pain and caring for my injuries but now the boots fit fine and are actually quite comfortable. Great boots, just be prepared to break them in.

These steel toes are TOUGH! They handle one hell of a beating and keep on kicking! Plus these boots are built and rated to safely handle up to 600V of electricity without you ever feeling it (these boots are GREAT for welding in!!!). Plus because of the steel toe they're a lot safer to lift stuff with cranes or big jacks and not have to worry much about them falling on your feet. The best part about these boots though, is CAT offers BOTH normal sizes AND wide foot sizes!!! It's hard to find boots that fit my wide feet but having the choice between "some a little longer than needed but wide enough" & "some the perfect size" is AWESOME! (The normal size that's a little longer is actually good in the winter because wearing 2 pairs of socks to stay warm actually makes them fit pretty close to perfect)

Started wearing these November 1st, here it is two months later the inside is wore out the outside of the boots show lots of wear but the inside is just shredded the sides and heal is all worn out down to the leather and sole , cat boots used to last a year what happened to the quality?

The first steel toe boot that was comfortable right out of the box. I softened them up and they’re my favorite. Saddle soap and some water will do the trick.

Bought theses for my son for Christmas and he loved them and he said they fit well and they are comfortable, so the sizing is true size , and they will not disappoint .

Received these boots last week, they appear to be of quality leather, steel toe, not super heavy. Over all nice looking boot, although i did order better insoles as these are just standard issue, flat insoles. Time shall tell as i work in the mountains logging and mining so im hard on my boots. I put tufftoe on the steel toes to prevent damage to the toe as this seems to be where my boots wear fast.
