I found this product by looking for vegan shampoo for my daughter who has allergies and because we are becoming as low toxic as we can step by step. I found a video on tik tok from a hairstylist who said after trying so many vegan products this was the best. I agreed with her about other vegan products not working because we have tried others as well with no luck. My daughter has fine thick hair that is a tangley mess everyday and she sweats from playing, which makes it worse. Every day was a nightmare for both of us. I tried all the brushes, all the products, silk bonnets, everything. Her hair was constantly getting damaged and broken. She wanted to grow it out, but its so hard when it's always breaking. Frizz was always an issue as well. My hairstylist wanted me to try Verb, which I did and Pravana. They were good products and helped, but again not vegan and she needed better products. She is a child like her mother who wants to heal the world, not hurt it. When these products arrived, they were in such cute little packages and smell so good. We ordered the citrus based on the video. The smell is nice. They seem small, but once you use them you are able to see how you can get so many washes out of them. I washed her hair with ease just like directions said and it lathers so nice. When rinsed, no residue like other shampoos. Just clean hair. I was worried at first because the hair seemed so clean that it may be hard to comb. Then I used conditioner and could see it would not be an issue. The first time I used it I put on the top first and down the hair. Too much. Second time I rubbed conditioner from base of skull down hair ends and then what was left on my hands, I used to put on the rest of hair. I had her gentle rinse and be done. That was perfect. We also ordered the body wash. So nice on her skin. Again, no residue. Just nice soft skin. I feel like you use less water as u spend less time washing it off if that makes sense. It's a win buying these products in so many ways. Once out of the shower, I am able to comb my daughter's hair so easy. That never happened before without a bunch of Pravana on it. I let it air dry and in the am I still only run a comb thru it. No tangles at all. I was shocked same as my daughter. Even after school she comes home with nice soft hair. It does control the frizz and need to wash as often. I am just blown away by this product. I wish I would have known about it sooner. I tried it on my own hair also. I have thick fine hair with gray and don't need to wash more than three times a week. It has made my hair so nice and brings out the wave. I throw a few curls in and it looks amazing. I read some reviews about fragrance and how it doesn't transfer and I want to say that the smell of the soap is wonderful. Having said that the fact that the smell doesn't transfer is a good thing. It means it's safe and if a smell sticks to your hair, chances are it's disrupting your hormones and causing you more issues than you want anyways. Enjoy the fact that you can read and understand the list of ingredients in these products and know they aren't causing you or your children harm. I will be ordering for the whole family. Wow. My first time using this shampoo & conditioner. smell nice & clean, my hair is wonderful. I love the conditioner, which made my hair soft, shiny, and detangled, not fizzy. I rarely review items I purchase from Amazon, but this product rates my two cents. For the last 3-4 years I have noticed an increased amount of hair in the shower drain and my de-tangling comb after washing my hair. I also noticed an increase in oily buildup and an itchy scalp. I currently have 3 different medicated shampoos as well as 2 different types of conditioner in my shower, I will probably use them to bathe my cat. If this sounds like you, let me start with the facts. I am 70 yrs old, my hair reaches to the middle of my behind and I was this close to shaving my head, that is how frustrated and discouraged I have become. Then I asked my mail lady, a very pleasant Hawaiian woman with very long hair, what she uses. Keep in mind she did not recommend a brand name, she just said get the rice water bar. So with that and with only reading reviews/looking at price I settled on Viori, I bought the set, when it arrived the very same day I was in the shower lathering up my head. 1st, the Hidden Waterfall scent is to die for. It takes a little effort to get the lather at first but trust me it will happen. The conditioner bar doesn't have the same intensity of scent but it doesn't mask the shampoo scent. One of the most immediate results were the comb out was alot easier than normal, my hair was very silky to the touch , and the usual frizzy ends were notably reduced, now on day 3 w/ no oily buildup or itchy scalp. But the thing that blew me away was when I happened to stand in a shaft of light streaming into my house was the SHINE, My hair has not seen shine like this in over twenty years and all this w/ the 1st use, so looking forward to updating this review in 6 mos.

I got this to try since I had tried Kitsch and liked it. I have very fine fluffy thinning gray hair half way down back. Since trying out bar soaps for hair ( this is my 4th company) I have learned a lot about what way to wash and how to use. So the best way to use bar soaps to see if they are right for you is to wash using a circular motion around the edge of your hairline once, then put the soap bar down and try to incorporate in all your hair, then rinse it out and do it one more time and when you do that, you will notice it suds up more and you get a better wash. After that and after you thoroughly rinse your hair, grab the conditioner and do the same technique, but ONLY from where your ears start to the bottom of your nape, the run the bar down from the neck down and then rub bar on ends or lather in your hand, put the bar down and use your fingers to work into the ends only for a minute or two. Then while rinsing hair move hair all over head until completely rinsed. So back to review, I lime this soap, but the smell is to strong for me, I also noticed that it does work for me for a few weeks, but because I have hard water it doesnt work as well as it did for me the first two washes and it leaves a film on my hair, but when I had to stay at a hotel, it felt really nice in my hair, so that lead me to researching bar soaps that work with hard water, which this is not one. Using bar shampoo and conditioner, I have realized that once it gets to certain size, it does not wash or condition the same, but overall these soaps have all helped me to not shed as much and they leave my hair feeling food enough to not wash but every two days. Side note, I do have split ends and rubbing the conditioner in the ends has helped to soften them.

I am always looking for that perfect hair product and I think this one could be it. I have VERY thick hair, oily and itchy scalp, and all the frizz. I have used this set for four washes so far and each time my hair has been clean, soft, and shiny. The scent is subtle and soothing. I wet and gently glide the shampoo bar all over my wet hair and then scrub with my hands. It lathers very well and penetrates the thick hair right down to the scalp. After a thorough rinse, I wet the conditioner bar and swipe it over my hair and ends. It seems like like the conditioner isn't adhering at first, but then it's obvious when I start to massage it in. It coats so evenly by adding a little water. I let that sit in my hair while I wash my body. It doesn't drip down my back like other conditioners. It stays on my hair, and what little may drip has not made my skin break out. The conditioner works so well, there's no residue and I do not need leave in conditioner afterwards to detangle. I let my hair air dry and there is minimal frizz and lots of beautiful shine. My scalp feels fantastic and does not itch between washes. It also does not seem to get as greasy. I'm smitten.

I was hesitant about using a shampoo bar, but this shampoo bar is wonderful! It smells great, lots of lather and leaves my hair soft and manageable. I love it. Kudos to the conditioning bar as well! Works great and leaves my hair very soft and tangle free.

On the plus side, you'll feel like you're saving the planet. No endless plastic, plastic, plastic. It smells really nice, too. Packaging was totally cute. Did it cleanse my hair so perfectly, so gently, as to render my locks luscious? Nope. It just washed my hair.

First time using a shampoo and conditioner bar. Both the shampoo and the conditioner bar are amazing. I noticed a difference in the way my hair feels after washing it with the bar the very first time - when rinsing out the lather, the hair already feels much softer compared to using a regular shampoo. The conditioner bar made my hair smooth and it rinses out much more quickly than regular conditioner. Both the shampoo and conditioner have very subtle scent, not an overwhelming soap scent one would expect from a soap bar. After drying, my hair is smooth and combs easily without tangling, even when wet. For someone who has very fine long hair that tangles easily, this is huge. I'll keep using it.

I like this shampoo and conditioner. I cannot comment on results yet because it needs the test of time. I ordered and started using it only a month ago. But what I can say is that it is very gentle on hair. Pleasant scent - I thought it was quite strong at the beginning but that's because I stopped using perfumes and scented lotions. Now I really like the scent and don't find it heavy anymore. It came in a very nice package, good idea for a gift. Was delivered 2 days before the guaranteed delivery date. The best solid shampoo I've ever tried and I suspect a lot cleaner and healthier (less ingredients), so not planning to go back to liquid shampoo.

Accidentally bought the unscented which was a bummer, but my hair loves this stuff! I have hip length thick but fine hair. I was worried that, like previous shampoo and conditioner bars, I would have to work it hard into my hair to get enough cleansing and conditioning, but these bars pack a punch. A little goes a long way and they leave my hair feeling so clean, soft and hydrated.
