Wooster Brush SR090 Sherlock GT Convertible Extension Pole, 2-4 feet (New - 2-4 Feet)

I was a professional painter for 6 years and this type of pole was a time saver and a good friend to my back. The pole itself is 2' but extends to 4' max. It locks in place at each uncemented length. It come with a roller cage adapter that is a great add on for anyone painting. Once screwed on the pole it has a locking pin to keep the roller cage from twisting off of the pole.. It is sturdy and made for the person that paints regular but not commercial. The plastic twist on adapter needs to be metal for the best durability. However it is well worth the money. I paid $35 and a commercial rated pole is $75-100. It will last a long time if you do not beat it up and keep it clean. It could very well last years. It is not a fly by night piece of junk. It is semi-pro.

This extension pole made me realize I didn't hate painting - I hated dealing with cheaper poles that were prone to fail. I'm not saying I'm now looking for rooms to paint, but I now understand how some people find painting relaxing. This extension pole is fat and easy to grip, clips onto the paint roller instead of screwing on (that always loosened up on me), extends and retracts quickly (and stays in position) unlike the skinny twist to lock devices that I'd buy because they were cheaper. Ferris Bueller could have been talking about this when he said, "It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up."

Save your arms! If you're going to paint pretty much any amount of space I recommend getting these poles. They save your arms from fatigue and allow you to paint in one full stroke. Very comfortable, easily attach and detach from your roller. Easy to extend. Good quality, nice and solid feel.

Good product, designed to last. Have done full sanding and roller paint with this in a couple rooms so far and no problems. Great quality.

This extension pole with the compatible roller made my painting job so much quicker and easier. Made with quality and is worth every penny. It has a comfortable grip and really feels sturdy. It feels like it will hold up well. I consider it an investment in saving me time and trouble for any of my painting jobs in the future.

This extension pole is solid and easy to work with. All Wooster tools are pretty though.

So far so good, but not quite as nice or quick as Jiffylock. But with Jiffylock you have to buy male and female ends separately and you have to pay shipping on each item. But if you're a pro, try the JiffyLock. Jiffylock is very nice and works with all your existing standard thread poles and roller handles. Hard to find both items on Amazon, but they have both.
