My son loves this as much as I did as a child. I'm glad to see that the quality on some items have not waivered over the years. The price point seems a bit high to me for what it is however just my own opinion. If this thing lasts like the original from the late 80's/90's my son should get years of enjoyment as I did.

This is EXACTLY just as fun now as it was in the 80s, which is, not fun AT ALL. WTF was I thinking?!?!! A ball with a rim job?!?! The review asks if it’s durable, and it definitely is, if by durable you mean durably plastic… giftable?!?! Sure! But, you can put a bow on a turd and call it a gift, too…. You’re not gonna be the coolest one at the party, but at least you brought a gift….. Kadie bought your friend a hoverboard, so you had no chance, anyway….
