A little too thin for my liking but for my purpose of hanging strings of patio festive lights, it worked just fine I was skeptic at first but tested the wire rope by hanging a 10 pound weight to it and jeeking it up and swinging it around and it held! The aluminum crimping "woggles" are eay enough to mash down with a pair of pliers...no special tool needed. Way cheaper than the big store price.

Great wire rope, work fine and haven't had any issues with the results. I do recommend you used a crimping tool to properly close the feral this is very important in obtaining a strong secure grip in the binding.
