Where to start? Like many other young women in the two thousand-teens, I had a Birchbox subscription which was like, a gamble because of how sensitive and reactive my skin is. But this came one month, oh so many years ago, and I fell in love with it immediately. I didn't have horrific acne in my young twenties, but my skin went to h-e-double hockey sticks in a hand basket when I got myself an IUD, hated it, switch to BCP, then the arm implant, and back to BCP again. My poor face, so dry, so fragile. The only saving grace was my Liz Earle cleanser, and my First Aid Beauty moisturizer. This dealt with zits, blackheads, whiteheads, Vesuvius-kin cystic acne, and hormonal breakouts like it was hoovering cheerios off the carpet, just gone in a day or two. No suffering, minimal pain. Honestly, I was devastated when the pandemic hit and I wasn't able to order from the Liz Earle website any longer. Still can't, so I took a risk and ordered it from Amazon. It appears to be the original formula, and the smell, texture, are the same. Gosh, I washed my face today, immediately after getting it, and the redness in my face disappeared. The smell sent me to my happy place, and the creamy texture became an oasis, the salvation for the Sahara desert that is my face. No stinging around the eyes, no tingling on my cheeks, just, heaven. I'll always recommend Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish to anyone who asks. My skin is ridiculously sensitive, I cannot wear makeup or most sunscreen, my tears cause my face to breakout (I have fairly severe environmental allergies), heck, even sweating upsets my skin. But this, this combats it all so smoothly, that I can do anything, anything!, and my face will always be happy. Oh, and yes, it can take a bit, but it works on "waterproof" makeup. Melts mascara and eyeliner, removes physical white cast sunscreen like a breeze through leaves. Also gets rid of fifth-wheel grease from skin, tested it on my husband who drives and pre-trips/post-trips semis. Those trucks are positively filthy, but he comes out sparkling when he uses it.

I bought my first 2 100 mL herbal tubes of Cleanse and Polish with the hot clothes in UK possibly as long as 10 years ago at promotion at Boots. I loved it so much I bought the 200ML tube when it finally came on offer on Amazon Canada. No Regrets. My sensitive skin enjoys the lovely emollients of the cleansing oils.

I've used this product for maybe twenty years. I have nuisance skin - reacts to everything, insect bites, plants, allergies to metals, eczema, psoriasis.... you name it. This is the only cleanser I have ever found that actually cleans my face with no negative side effects, which makes it feel smooth and perfect for a few minutes every day.
