Kodak Step Instant Color Photo Printer with Bluetooth/NFC, ZINK Technology & Kodak App for iOS & Android (Pink) Starter Bundle

I got my bonus daughter a little printer like this only hers doesn’t have the sticker backing so I wasn’t sure how well I would like the that feature. Turns out that it makes my memory section of my planner so much easier to do! Great things: The printer works well. Better than I expected due to some of the reviews. It was easy to connect via Bluetooth. The charge lasts a good amount of time. Reasonable charging time. Easy to load the printer film. The sticky back has just the right amount of stick so that the protective film comes off easily but stays put if you don’t want to remove it. The Kodak app has a lot of great features and is very easy to use. Lots of fun extras!! I especially like the variety of sticker(s) frames. Bad things: The printer shuts off after a short period of time of no use. Have to reconnect each time it’s turned back on again. Have to use the Kodak app to print pictures. There are very few downsides to this little printer but there’s are things to keep in mind depending on what you’re looking for.

I take lots of photos but rarely do I ever print them out. I bought this little printer so that I could print some of these photos. We travel in our RV and I like to keep some photos of places that we've been in the RV on our photo board. I really like it; it's a lot of fun. The color is pretty good, prints pretty fast, and the little backgrounds that you can stick them to are a fun touch. There's also some other stickers and frames that you could add to the pictures. I also keep a notebook of all the places that we've traveled (with campsite specific info) and I try to keep one picture to represent each place in the notebook. It's perfect for this. The little photo book is handy for keeping photos I'm not hanging up. The carry case is well made & holds quite a bit. I have several packs of paper in it, & the charging cable. The app is easy to use, worked fine on Android phone, and has lots of borders & graphics to use. I've had this printer just over a year. I've printed tons of photos & they have all come out well. I've never had a jam. The photos are aligned correctly with good color.

Great little photo printer. The only thing that I dont really like about it is that it doesn't print in crisp clear color. I use this to put photos in my daughter's school family journal so it works fine for the job. Just wish the photos weren't so dark and were more vibrant.

Compact, easy to use, image quality is fantastic. Recommend getting the travel case with it.

Nice item to take small pictures to able add to your billfold & maybe do scrapbook.

Great for what I needed it for, but how often would you need to print wallet sized photos?!

I’m extremely surprised that it’s such a poor product for Kodak! CONS: - It takes a long time to print more than 3-4 pictures. Then it needs time to cool off. - It feeds the paper inconsistently. If it’s delayed, you’ll get a white bar and missing a portion of the picture (bottom 2 pictures.) Sometimes, more often than I would like, it doesn’t feed it at all and I can hear it running/printing but nothing is coming out. Unfortunately, if this happens, the picture you tried to print disappears (including any edits you may have made) and have to look for it again and re-edit. Which takes more time. - I only buy and use the Kodak brand paper and in each pack, you have to put the blue calibrating paper in first. This doesn’t guarantee that 1) the color will come out right & 2) that there won’t be streaks (top 3 pictures). I had several packs worth of photos where everything was extremely yellow and dark. It was so bad that even adjusting the color and brightness didn’t help it at all (no exaggeration!). PROS: - All the photo paper can be turned into stickers when you peel off the backing. By the way, the pictures I’ve attached were all from the same pack. Each pack has 10 sheets. I initially liked it because of that adhesive back for scrapbooking. The scrapbook I had was small so the smaller sized pictures were ideal. But after printing approximately the 3rd pack, I was ready to chuck the printer across the room! It’s exceedingly frustrating to use because: 1) it takes SO long to print 1 pack of 10 pictures! After about the 6th picture, you have to wait several minutes for it to cool off. And there’s no way to queue the photos so you have to wait about 2 seconds after it finishes printing before pressing the print button for anther pic. Then, after a couple minutes of constant printing, I have to charge it again. 2) Almost half of them looked horrible either due to the streaking or off color - deep yellow. 3) Sometimes, I have to manually feed the paper in one by one while holding it vertically for gravity to help pull the paper through. It only helps about 40% of the time. I’m so annoyed that I couldn’t return it because I had passed the window and don’t have time to buy and wait for a new one to arrive and test that one out. Extremely disappointed in this printer! The printer and paper are very expensive for such poor quality products! Seriously, I wholeheartedly warn against buying this printer and try out a cheaper one. Even if that sucked, at least you didn’t waste as much money!

This set was a great investment. Only downfall is I can only find refills on Amazon. Little pricey for refills but great quality
