Works perfect for graphite shaft tape scraping.

This tool works great for not scuffing up graphite shafts. I used with a little heat to weaken the tape adhesive and then just pushed it off with the scraper. Anyone having trouble with it might try that approach.

Easy no worry removal of old grip tape.

Tool works as it supposed to, but takes a lot of “elbow grease” to get off old tape residue. The edge is rounded and not sharp. Feel like it might work a bit better with a slightly sharper edge. I had much better luck WD-40 and my thumb nail.

Read up on others' experiences. All indicated this kind of tool was a must. Worked well for the 15 clubs I regripped. Not sure how many it will support before considering sharpening it. One tip is to hit the tape with butane flame before scrapping to loosen the glue. After most is off, I found using acetone (or whatever gripping solution you have) was easiest way to remove tape residue before re-taping.... Easier than trying to remove it with this tool.

For older tape, this really is not much help. For fresher, newer tape, it works OK-to-good. First, fresh tape can usually be peeled by hand (or so it was on first regripping of my Ping G400 clubs). It was helpful in a few spots. Second, the tool "cutting" edge inner diameter is larger than a stock shaft outer diameter - so it's better than a straight blade, but not by a lot. Lastly, I do appreciate the fact that it's a material which won't harm my graphite shafts.
