15" Stainless Steel Shoehorn with Paracord Handle

This may be the finest shoe horn I've ever owned. Unlike some other plastic and metal ones that have either cracked or broken, this sucker can withstand all of my 30 BMI weight (hint double century club) and slide that heel right into the shoe. Also, not too long, so it fits in a cabinet drawer. No bending, no problems.The paracord makes me think I can take it on a camping trip and use it to ward off bears (note: this is not a recommended use, but it really seems that durable). Alternatively, I can try to use it to cut down trees, or for fencing practice. With good enough leverage, it may be able to lift a car to change a flat, again, not a recommended use, but it is nice to see an overspecced product for a fair price compared to some of the crap that is shipped out these days.Highest recommendation.

Amazon likes to censor real reviews, but just in case you can see this: I'm four years post-op from emergency spinal surgery. This product helps me not only get my boots on in a timely fashion, but also keeps the back of the boots from being damaged by my heel so it improves the longevity of the boots. In my line of work I have to be able to get boots on very fast, it's literally the difference between life and death for the patients in my care. Would like to note that I have most of my mobility back so this works perfectly now, but this shoehorn probably wouldn't have been long enough for me immediately after my surgery when I was unable to bend or stand on one foot.

It's a shoehorn, so there's not a whole lot to say ...but, with that said, it's heavy (in a good way), and strong, so it will not bend on ya. The para-cord handle is a great touch, and there's enough on the end to form a little loop and use it to hang it up when not in use. For me, the length is perfect, even though you still have to bend over; it's not long enough to use from a standing position, like the ones you see for people who are older maybe, or can't bend over for medical reasons. The difference between this one, and the little ones, is night/day. For me the length made such a huge difference in comfort while using it, I don't think I'll ever use my short ones unless I absolutely have to. Also, just to put it out there, if you are someone who can't/doesn't want to bend over, it's long enough to where you might be able to use it from a seated position.

I was looking for high quality shoe horns. I purchased two that I thought would suit my purpose. This is one of them. I chose this one because of its length. Sometimes it is just not possible to sit down to put on shoes. On those occasions, when presented with snug shoes that fit your feet, I find a long handled shoe horn is a welcome part of my inventory. I have a smaller 7 1/2 inch stainless steel one that is particularly nice and which I use most frequently. On those occasions when fitting feet into snug loafers and in a hurry or on the go, this one is the one I grab.The blade is stainless steel and long enough to use while standing. The handle is wrapped with paranoid for protection and a good grip. Overall, its not a perfect solution, but I don't use it too often. The blade COULD be a little larger and more rounded, better formed. But it is certainly functional and is just about the perfect length.Good product. Four stars for a sturdy product that is useful and a good value.

If you are in the need for a shoehorn, this is as great as they come. I had a cheap one from the local big box store that broke. When looking for options online, came across this one and the many positive reviews. Received it 2 days later, as is expected nowadays.This is well made, great finish, good grip from the woven handle, seems to be extremely durable for a shoehorn, and is comfortable to use.Found a peg on the shoestand that was just right to hang this from. The length is just right, avoiding a deep bend-over when wearing my shoes.Now trying to teach the kids how to use this and not break the spine of their shoes by pushing their heels in.

I’ve always had a problem getting shoes on while avoiding that irritating problem of the heel of the shoe bending down when my heel tries to go in. This solves that perfectly! The length makes it perfect for anyone (old or young). This is my second one, by the way. We have to put on safety toe shoes before going out into the shop and my shoes are high tops which compounds the issue. This simple tool solves it for me.

This shoehorn is perfect in every way. It's very rugged. I joked with my husband that it would make a good weapon if ever I needed one, LOL. My husband is very pleased with this purchase. It's a good length so he doesn't need to bend over too much to use it. His foot slid right into his shoe/sneaker the very first try. Very helpful tool. He also likes that it can hang on a hook for easy access. He won't be looking around for where he last put it. It will always be hanging on it's hook. This was a very good purchase and the company is very nice to work with.

This product arrived 2 days late and I missed being able to take it on a trip. The package itself was large sealed envelope that didn't have "easy-open" or "zip" to open the envelope. I cut the top off and when I took out the two shoe horns that I had ordered. The paracord stuck up above the horns themselves near the top of the envelope. I discovered that I had cut off the top of one paracord where had a top knot. They work as stated and I am pleased to have them. They could be better engineered if they had the paracord tied in loop to give the user a choice in hanging them on a hook. I feel that they are a good buy for the money. I give the shipping and packaging a "3" and the horns a "4".

I just wanted a decent metal shoehorn because the long plastic ones tend to break easy. I've had two back surgeries and I've got a knee that keeps almost doubling in size for some reason so it's nice to be able to easily slip on my shoes sometimes. What I received was no ordinary shoehorn, though. This thing just oozes quality. The paracord handle feels so good in my hand I almost want to keep carrying it after I've put my shoes on. Just stop thinking about other shoehorns and buy this one.

Lo he usado por que no puedo agacharme mucho y funciona muy bien además de que es de acero inoxidable. Si tienes dificultad con los zapatos o eres un persona adulta y no puedes colocarte los zapatos este calzador sera la solución.

Tal cual se describe. Orillas suavizadas, buen peso. Excelente para personas de edad avanzada o que no se pueden agachar mucho.
