For lithium batteries, the identification process takes about 10 seconds; For Ni-NH batteries, the identification process takes about 10~15 minutes. During the identification process, the charger will continuously blink the battery type. After the charger completed identifying the battery type, it will stop blinking and display the battery type, then start charging. Note: During the identification process, if the positive and negative interface of the battery are not in correct contact with the charger, which will also lead to take ages (many minutes) to recognize the battery and start charging. Here may we know what type of batteries were being charged at that time?
