It definitely worked. Unlike other reviewers experience with the chalky texture, it was not chalky or crumbly at all. I have only tried the cinnamon flavor so far and it was good. Not overly powerful but definitely cinnamon. There is the strange aftertaste but not horrible. It did harden and lose a lot of flavor after about 20-30 minutes so I spit it out, luckily I was near a trash bin. Still need to try the fruit punch and mint. But cinnamon is definitely a good one. I have never chewed gum while running so this was a new experience. I normally use sport beans and can eat those and ditch the packages at water stops or hang on to them until I get home if just doing training runs. It'll take some getting used to making sure I have a place to spit the gum out or a way to carry it until I can toss it. Something to keep in mind.

Only 2 pcs per pack. They are alka seltzer size. Bought the variety pack of 12. So I got 24 pcs of gum for 20 dollars plus tax. The gum does work, but it is too pricy. Not only that; after the initial chew, it turned so bitter that I had to spit it out. Now I gotta suck it up amd not throw it away cause it was so expensive.

So I like caffeine gum. I ordered the variety pack. Flavors are ok. Caffeine is good… texture is weird. You have to chew it a while before it becomes gum and rubbery. It kind of starts to fall apart when you start out chewing it. Not my favorite but it works.

Was caffiene gum so of course after a while flavor dissipates and becomes intensely bitter. Initial flavors are better than other options I have had, for example much better than military energy gum.

Usually I buy this product at my local running store. I bought this product because I could get the same size box as my favorite running store and have a variety of flavors vs. one box of all the same flavor. Honestly, they are about the same price as buying local, but I like that they offer the variety flavor option. Great energy and fuel for my long runs and weekend races.
