Can you buy the replacement springs, the one labelled durable spring in the description?

Yes, you probably can buy the spring but then you've got to take the clicker apart. I took mine apart but then couldn't re-assemble it. By buying the whole item you simply have to swap them over. At 2 for £7 they're hardly expensive and I've now got a spare. With 5 pop-up wastes in my house I'm sure to need it before long!!

Is the correct replacement for your item called "chrome bath waste with overflow & chrome pop up waste"? i lost the screw that pops up the plug.

This is a basin or sink pop up replacement, they come in different sizes and the screw in part can be at the top or bottom. Bath ones may have different fitting types.

Does this include the clicker pop up bolt? Or 5 drain stoppers only?

No it is only the screw on top portion.

Can the screws be replaced by yourself? Is it troublesome?

Just unscrew the lid of the drainer and install it. It's basically a common one, and it can be done in five minutes.

A Cost Effective Repair for a Broken Bristan Basin Waste

A perfect like-for-like replacement for a broken clicker in a Bristan W BASIN04 C Basin Round Clicker Waste at a very affordable price. Bristan no longer supply spares for this waste fitting so finding a replacement avoided the need to remove and replace the entire waste unit. The replacement was easy to fit. I removed the old broken one by unscrewing it with a pair of pliers, then cleaned up the base with cleaner and an old tooth brush, then screwed in the new one making sure not to overtighten it. It works perfectly.

I am NOT an enthusiastic diy person, neither am I a very competent diy person, so when I tell you that this was easy to replace, took very little time to replace and needed nothing more than a decent pair of pliers to replace, hopefully you will be encouraged to buy this and do it yourself!The pliers are only required to help undo/loosen the old one, you can use them to ever so slightly tighten the new one, but to be honest, a good hand tight is usually sufficient.As several other reviews have already pointed out, I believe this new replacement, to be of better quality than the original!Obviously only time will tell, regarding longevity and reliability, but thus far, I'm impressed and bought at a very reasonable price too.I was tempted to buy the pack of two, as you save a little the more you buy, but given my track record with diy, I didn't want to risk it, but I certainly should have bought the two pack, often a good idea to keep a spare for possible future use, in case these end up being difficult to find again online.I replaced my old, broken one, with this new one in, I would say, 2 minutes maximum!
