Very flavorful at seasoning in my cooking
I bought this as part of a piccadillo recipe, as seasoning in my sofrito. It was excellent! It is pretty tough, and I wouldn’t want to eat slices of this chorizo on a cracker. But it is a great addition in cooking.

Great, but not so picante
This chorizo has very good flavor. You can definitely taste the smoked paprika in it. I will say that it is not hot, not even for me, and I can't handle anything hotter than a jalapeno. If you're looking for a truly spicy Spanish chorizo, this may not be your best option. If you want an authentic Spanish Chorizo with great flavor, go for it! I made paella with this and it was delicious!

Great flavor and value
Great product. I use to buy a different brand at a local market but they closed. I couldn't find anything close in my area so I searched Amazon and found this. The reviews were right on target. I made a soup with it, added great flavor and color to the soup. White bean, chorizo, kale with orzo pasta. Good with pasta also. Will definitely purchase again. Seller got it shipped out right away too.

residual, un-palatable sinew in every bite.
Granted this is my first time trying a Spanish Chorizo, I didn't expect to have to spit out the remaining, un-chewable/swallowable sinew every time I took a bite of this otherwise delicious chorizo. Maybe that's the norm, but it sure did disappoint me. May never order Spanish chorizo again for this reason, as this had the best reviews in its class that I'd found on Amazon at the time I placed my order (appx 11/2013)

Great Flavor do not be put off by the Hot!
I was worried this would be a to hot but it wasn't. I sliced it and, because its fully cured, I ate a piece while I prepped the meal. Great flavor, if I hadn't gotten busy I would have eaten all of it! Will be buying more in the future!
