Q: These are bare wood, no oil, resin, wax, etc?

They are not bare wood, I can not tell you what they have used to bind the strips of wood, they are not made from one solid piece. One of my plates came apart the first week of use, i report this to Amazon, but no one contacted or sent me a replacement,

Q: Has anyone had these for an extended period if time. How do they hold uo to every day use?

We use them everyday and love them! The only thing we don’t do is use a knife on them. Other than that they are our favorite go-to dishes.

Q: Do you use melamine to bind the bamboo fibers together? Or do you use toxic glues or wood stains?

I am not sure how they are put together, but ours split in the first 30 days.
