Superb vacuum
So easy to use and the suction is out of this world. The accessories are easily swapped around and cleaning is a breeze. I would highly recommend this piece of kit.

Once you've stopped crying at the price you'll happily fall in love with this
Dyson products are expensive, and horrifyingly so. Our DC07 died and the research into what could replace it ensued. We also have a V6 handheld, which is noisy, gets clogged up with hair and lasts about 5 minutes on a charge (and needs a good 20 minutes to cool down enough to re-charge). So I was sceptical about a hand-held.The reviews for this are OK and we have family with various models and the couple who own the V15 love it as if it were their first-born child, so I bit my lip, closed my eyes and bought it (I'll no doubt start crying again when the credit card bill comes in) and I have to admit that I, one of the tightest people alive, do not regret the investment one bit. We've had it a week and the attachments have anti-tangle hair doofers that work a treat and have not needed cleaning once (and we have a very hairy dog in the house), the carpet is a different colour from all the muck it has sucked up and, best of all, it is quiet and no longer drives my tinnitus insane. The battery, though it takes a while to charge, lasts remarkably well and after doing the whole house is still at 65-70% charge which is incredible. And it comes with a load of attachments that make it a joy to use.So, all that is left to stop me from crying at the price again is for it to last - we are one week in so there's a way to go on that test. I'll be astonished if it lasts as long as the DC07 upright though (which came in at just shy of 20 years)...There's a hilariously funny review from an American lady, who states it is probably the second thing she would save if the house were on fire. At the price I might make it the first, but I'm in total agreement with er on how good it is.

The best vacuum we have ever had at first- serious problem later
In itila impression - Very easy to use and so efficient. Our last vacuum was a Which? best buy, but this one pulled an embarrassing amount of dust up from the carpets the first few times we used it and a neighbour commented on what good condition our carpets were in. The only slight niggle is that the dust container doesn't hold much, but I can live with that. It's a good idea to buy spare dust filters as you have to wash it and it takes days to dry, and the stands sold on Amazon are useful to store all the accessories so you don't lose them.Follow-up : I wish I hadn’t given this 5 stars. The excellent suction soon wore off and after a while we started to get regular blockages in the dust container. It has a rubber seal that is supposed to stop dust from going into the upper half of the container, after a few months this stopped working and dust went straight into the hole in the upper side of the container leading to the motor, I had to stop every couple of minutes and pull it out with tweezers. It took two phone calls a lot of hanging on and a lot of assertiveness with customer services before they agreed to look at it , then I had to wait 2 weeks for them to collect it and wait for it to be returned.A couple of weeks later the problem came back. I suspect this is a design problem, there are huge numbers of reviews for “Dyson blockage” videos on you tube. There are other annoying things about it too- it is good at retaining allergens on testing, but emptying it emits a big dust cloud and you have to wipe your bin down every time. It also drops small bits when you go from one surface to another. I give up, I’ve bought a Henry. I’m pleased to see it’s made in the UK.

My second go at a Dyson
The first Dyson failed after less than a year tried a Shark but that was not as good. So back to Dyson. One big drawback for me is the trigger to turn it on. You have to keep the trigger pressed and you end up with Dyson finger after a while. WHY NOT A SWITCH DYSON?

Works for about 8 months.
Some design flaw somewhere. We’re now on our 3rd which is going to have to be sent back as well. They work for about 8 months and then the message “airways blocked” comes up whenever you use the power setting, however much you clean it. To Dyson’s credit they keep sending out a new one to replace it, but it’s really boring to have to keep replacing.

Lost two brushes!
The machine works well, but when I received it, there was no stubborn dirt brush and soft dusting brush compared to the picture.
