HyperSelect 80W LED Wallpack Light, Hyperikon, HPS/HID Replacement, 5000K (Crystal White Glow), 6500 Lumen, UL Listed

bought one of these as a test to see how much light they put out in comparison to a utility company light that costs me 20 per month from the light company. I will be buying a couple more of these in the near future. they work great lots of light super bright. almost too bright to be honest. might consider a lower wattage for the others i plan to buy. doing this I can save myself money in the long run. it will pay for itself in 4 months versus spending 20 per month per light forever with the light company.update.....after about 6 months of use this light started to do the disco strobe thing. I contacted Hyperikon regarding this, they sent a replacement right out. got it in about 2 days no questions asked.

I am in the process of receiving my second replacement now. The first unit worked for nearly a year, and then went do a bare glow. They sent me a replacement, and that one has lasted about half a year now, and that one went dim and flickered as it failed.The third unit is on its way to me now, but I have no confidence in the longevity at all, and I expect that after the 5 year warranty is up, whichever replacement I'm on by that time will fail, and I'll just have to find a different unit to purchase at that time.I will say that it is quite bright, and when it works, it works exactly as described, and is as bright as I was expecting and needed. The power module is what seems to fail in my mind, though I haven't pulled this last one apart yet. the first one I checked with a multimeter and when powered it didn't show any output.Overall a letdown for the quality and longevity. The customer service has been great, but I only expect that for the 5 years that the warranty is in place, after which I expect to be on my own to figure things out.

The Lights are indeed Nice and Bright. The Problem is that they Fail! I purchased Eight (8) Lights for my Business. Over a Period of 6 Months, Each One Has Failed. HyperSelect does stand by their Warranty, and sends out a New Light, but we have had Eight out of Eight Lights Fail. That is a 100% Failure!!! This is getting a Little Ridiculous!!! Once the Warranty Expires, I will have to Purchase all New Lights.

Not going well. The light appears well made and looks nice, but is only lasting 3 months before the internal power supply gives up. I am currently waiting for the second replacement under warranty. The light starts to flicker after 3 months before it dies completely.. twice now. I am an electrician and have verified all install parameters on a new building. Replacement is starting to get old since it's not in an easy place to access. I have requested tech support to contact me regarding the matter, but I'm losing hope after reading very familiar reviews. No Bueno.

I've been slowly upgrading all the indoor and outdoor fixtures at my office and have used hyperikon exclusively. Luckily I haven't had to use their customer service yet but like all the other products I've bought from them this one exceeded my expectations. The build quality is top notch and the light emitted was far more than I was anticipating. I haven't had a chance to take proper photos of this fixture but you can see the daylight below it in the photo I've attached. It's the light above the dock in the distance. This replaces an old 100watt security light that was older than me.

We have replaced these lights 4 times. We have called each time and they have replaced them with new ones but the problem is having to hire an electrician to replace them each time. We are our $1000’s due to the quality of these lights working. We put them up and a week to a month later they start flashing.

THIS LIGHT ONLY WORKED FOR 2 TO 3 MONTHS AFTER INSTALLATION - IS THERE A RETURN POLICY WITH A REFUND? IT WAS TO REPLACE A 400W METAL HALIDE & WAS FINE WHILE IT WORKED. IT IS ON THE SIDE OF A BUILDING UNDER THE OVERHANG SO IT CATCHES VERY LITTLE RAIN. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT DUE TO THE FACT THAT I HAD TO USE A BUCKET TRUCK TO REACH FOR THE REPLACEMENT & WILL NEED TO AGAIN.THEY REPLACED THE FAULTY LIGHT WITH A NEW ONE FREE OF CHARGE & IT WORKS GREAT! EVERYONE I DEALT WITH WERE VERY PROFFESIONAL & HELPFUL! I WOULD BUY AGAIN IN A HEART BEAT! [ALBERT]

I purchased this light in April 2017 and had to replace when it stopped working in about October it is now late December and the 2nd light has started to blink and needs to be replaced again. So if you only need light for 4 or 5 months it's great but not for the long term.
